Role: Employment Solicitor (4+ PQE)

Salary: £68K + DOE

A leading national employment team is looking to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join their growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected, well‑structured employment team handling complex and varied work for major employer clients across public, private and regulated sectors.

You'll enjoy exposure to a wide mix of advisory, contentious and transactional matters, with the chance to build relationships across multiple specialist teams. The work is genuinely interesting and often high‑profile, offering long‑term development and excellent career visibility.

The Role 

• Managing your own caseload across both contentious and non‑contentious employment work
• Advising employer clients on restructures, redundancy processes and employee relations matters
• Handling complex tribunal litigation, including multi‑issue claims
• Supporting TUPE matters, including warranties, indemnities and workforce strategies
• Running employment aspects of corporate and commercial transactions, including due diligence
• Reviewing and drafting employment policies and workforce documentation
• Delivering training and supporting client relationship initiatives
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers as part of a national team structure

What They’re Looking For 

• 4+ PQE in employment law with solid exposure across advisory, contentious and/or transactional matters
• Experience advising on restructures, redundancies, and ER processes
• Strong tribunal and/or advocacy experience, with confidence handling complex litigation
• TUPE experience or a genuine interest in developing it
• Experience supporting corporate or commercial transactions
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Strong client‑handling abilities and a commercial approach
• An interest in BD, training and supporting team development
