Corporate Senior Associate (5+PQE) Manchester

If you’re an ambitious Corporate Solicitor ready to take the next step in your career, this opportunity offers the ideal mix of high‑quality work, autonomy and progression. You’ll be joining a respected, forward‑thinking corporate team with a strong reputation for delivering complex transactions and building long‑term client relationships across a wide range of sectors.
You’ll work closely with entrepreneurial SMEs, national brands and private equity‑backed businesses, while also gaining exposure to cross‑border transactions and international deal work through the team’s global client base and overseas counterparties.

Your work will include:

• Leading and managing M&A transactions (buy‑side and sell‑side).
• Supporting private equity investments and exits.
• Handling group reorganisations and restructures.
• Advising on shareholder agreements, joint ventures and governance matters.
• Working on international and multi‑jurisdictional transactions.
• Supervising junior lawyers and contributing to team development.
• Playing an active role in business development and client engagement.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ PQE in corporate transactional work.
• Strong technical skills across M&A and general corporate matters.
• Experience running your own deals with partner support.
• A commercial mindset and confidence working directly with clients.
• Drive, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in business development.
• Excellent academics and high‑quality training.
• A proactive, organised and team‑focused approach.
