Birmingham – £65,000 - £80,000

Run £500k+ clinical negligence cases, earn £80,000 + 14% bonus, and position yourself for Team Manager position within 12-24 months.
 
A specialist claimant firm in Birmingham is growing its high-value team and is looking for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor who wants proper ownership of complex, life-changing litigation.
 
You won't be assisting in the background. You'll run 500k+ clinical negligence claims involving birth injuries, cerebral palsy, brain damage and spinal injury matters, these are cases that genuinely shape your client's future.
 
Recent work has included a seven-figure birth injury settlement with lifelong care and accommodation elements, as well as a delayed diagnosis brain injury claim requiring multiple medical experts and detailed liability strategy. This is heavyweight, medically complex litigation where your judgement and negotiation skills really matter.

You'll own a £500k+ caseload, set strategy, manage experts and counsel, and drive litigation where required.

Proper Flexibility
Hybrid working (most people are typically one day in office, but you can come more or less), 35-hour week and 35 days' leave mean you can sustain long-term performance in demanding litigation.
 
What you'll bring:
  • 8+ years'+ PQE in clinical negligence
  • Strong experience in high-value or complex claims
  • Confidence managing experts, drafting pleadings and negotiating settlements
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues
  • Claimant background preferred, though strong defendant solicitors seeking a move will be considered

  • £80,000 DOE
  • Up to 14% annual bonus
