Family Solicitor Stockport A well regarded regional law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor to join its established team, working predominantly from its Stockport office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor with 2 or more years PQE to further develop their career within a supportive and growing department.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Partners, benefiting from both guidance and autonomy while managing a varied caseload of family matters.
Key Responsibilities - Manage a varied caseload of family law matters including financial remedy cases, children matters and injunctions, with clear opportunities for progression
- Provide clients with an effective, supportive and compassionate service during often sensitive and complex situations
- Participate in business development activity, including networking, developing new client relationships and attending events
- Generate fee income and maintain effective control of time recording, work in progress, billing and cash collection in line with agreed targets
The Ideal Candidate - Qualified Solicitor with 2 or more years PQE
- Experience supporting and managing a broad range of family law matters
- Highly organised and proactive with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Clear and confident communicator with strong client facing skills
- Positive team player who is approachable and committed to delivering excellent client care
