Costs Lawyer / Draftsperson

A leading law firm, is seeking a talented Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsperson to join our established Costs team. This is an exciting permanent role where you will have the opportunity to tackle unique challenges every day, contributing to the success of our firm and the satisfaction of our clients.
- Prepare bills, costs budgets, and replies to points of dispute- Negotiate costs settlements and provide costs advice to fee earners- Attend Costs and Case Management Conferences
Preferred Requirements:

Preferred Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of CPR and case law
- Excellent client care skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience using CostsMaster and confidence preparing detailed Bills of Costs
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with a positive attitude
- Proactive and flexible approach to work
- Experience as a costs lawyer or costs draftsperson
- Desirable: Experience with Proclaim and/or other case management systems
- Desirable: Strong team player with a positive attitude
