Corporate & Commercial Associate (0–5 Years’ PQE)

Our client, a highly regarded regional law firm with an excellent reputation in the Legal 500, is looking to recruit a Corporate & Commercial Associate (0–5 Years’ PQE) to join its growing team.

The Opportunity

You will join a well-established and collaborative department known for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice to a broad client base, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate organisations. The team is recognised for the quality of its work and strong client relationships, offering exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload.

The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of matters, including:

• Mergers and acquisitions (share and asset transactions)
• Company reorganisations and corporate structuring
• Shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures
• General corporate advisory work
• Commercial contracts across multiple sectors

You will have the opportunity to manage your own matters (with appropriate supervision), work closely with senior lawyers and partners, and play an active role in client relationship development and business development initiatives.
About You

• Qualified solicitor with 0–5 Years’ PQE in corporate and/or commercial law
• Solid technical grounding with experience gained in a reputable firm
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused approach
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
