Construction Associate
Altrincham – £70,000 - £80,000
Part of a highly regarded Real Estate Group, this team advises developers, funders, contractors and consultants on a wide range of projects — from residential conversions and BTR schemes to major mixed-use redevelopments.You’ll work closely with a Legal 500 ranked partner and collaborate with Real Estate and Corporate colleagues on multi-disciplinary matters.
The Role
- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts and development agreements
- Advising on facility agreements and agreements for lease
- Providing strategic, early-stage risk mitigation advice
- Working across sectors including housing, student accommodation, commercial and care
- Supporting both national and international projects
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE
- Strong non-contentious construction experience (contentious exposure a bonus)
- Confident negotiating JCT, NEC and other standard form contracts
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Proactive team player with the ability to work independently
