- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for negotiation and advise on cost-related issues.
- Develop and monitor cost budgets, attending Cost Management Hearings as needed.
- Manage costs actively through Cosine Software, drafting formal bills of costs and overseeing the assessment process.
- Liaise with external Cost Lawyers and provide in-house oversight when necessary.
- Advise on cost offers and the drafting of retainer and other funding documents.
- A qualified Costs Lawyer with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a "can-do" attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
