The Role

A well established law firm is seeking a Property Paralegal to join its growing support team. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of five paralegals, primarily supporting property matters, while also assisting with work across other departments including Litigation, Wills and Probate, and some Commercial matters.
 
Approximately 80 percent of the workload will be property focused, offering an excellent opportunity to develop experience in a busy and varied legal environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Setting up files and managing full client onboarding
• Data input and file administration
• Ordering searches and redemption statements
• Liaising with clients and third parties
• Pre completion work including checking completion statements
• Post completion work including SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications, balancing accounts and dealing with requisitions
• General administrative support to the wider team
• Providing cover on the switchboard when required

About the Candidate

• At least 6-12 months' experience in a property or conveyancing role
• Familiar with the conveyancing process from instruction through to post completion
• Well organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator with clients and third parties
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and manage competing priorities
