A leading law firm in central Leeds is looking to recruit an ambitious Employment Solicitor (1–2 years’ PQE) to join its highly regarded employment team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-quality claimant-focused caseload, acting for individuals across a broad range of employment matters, while developing your career within a supportive and progressive firm.
You will handle a varied and engaging caseload, including:
- Unfair and wrongful dismissal
- Discrimination and whistleblowing claims
- Redundancy and TUPE issues
- Settlement agreements
- Employment Tribunal litigation
You will have direct client contact from an early stage and the opportunity to take real responsibility for your files, with supervision and mentoring from experienced employment specialists.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified solicitor with 1–2 years’ PQE in employment law
- Experience of claimant employment work (or a strong desire to focus on this area)
- Confident handling matters autonomously with appropriate support
- Strong communication and client-care skills
- A proactive and commercial approach
