A well-established regional law firm is seeking an experienced
Residential Conveyancing Secretary or Paralegal to join it's West London office. You will provide key administrative and legal support to a team of three fee earners handling a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions.
Key Responsibilities - Providing full secretarial and administrative support to the conveyancing team
- Preparing and typing correspondence and legal documents
- Managing client files, including opening and closing files in compliance with firm procedures
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- Conducting searches, preparing contract packs, and assisting with SDLT and Land Registry applications
- Assisting with post-completion matters and ensuring deadlines are met
About You - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a residential conveyancing support role (secretary, assistant, or paralegal)
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused manner
- Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office
