Residential Property Paralegal

London – Salary negotiable based on experience

An established, forward-thinking Top 200 law firm is looking for an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join their team.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Issuing contract papers for sales, including plot sales.
  • Assisting with exchanges of contracts, completions, and post-completion work.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in person.
  • Handling enquiries and preparing replies.
  • Drafting and preparing legal documentation.
  • Conducting and checking searches and mortgage offers.
  • Preparing completion statements, bills, and pre-completion paperwork.
  • Managing notices to complete and associated documentation for plot sales.
  • Preparing SDLT forms and Land Registry applications, and dealing with all post-completion matters.

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage their own workload effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a logical, practical approach.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive attitude to supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • The capacity to work independently while being an effective team player.
  • Evidence of flexibility, accountability, and initiative.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills, with a focus on client care.
