Employment Solicitor (3–6 PQE) Manchester | Hybrid | Up to £65,000 DOE

Douglas Scott are working with an expanding Manchester commercial law firm to recruit a 3–6 PQE Employment Solicitor. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants high‑quality work, autonomy, and a supportive team. Salary is up to £65,000 DOE with hybrid working.
  
The firm has a growing employment practice advising SMEs, owner‑managed businesses, and professional services clients. They are now seeking a confident solicitor who can manage a mixed caseload and contribute to the team’s continued growth.

Role Highlights:

• Advise on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, capability, and performance matters
• Draft contracts, policies, handbooks, and settlement agreements
• Run Employment Tribunal claims independently
• Provide day‑to‑day HR and ER support
• Support training and business development

About You

• 3–6 PQE with solid employment law experience
• Strong advisory and contentious skills
• Commercial, pragmatic, and client‑focused
• Confident managing your own files and building relationships with minimal supervision
