An established and well-regarded regional law firm is looking to recruit a Civil Litigation Solicitor at newly qualified to four years’ PQE to join its growing litigation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking broad exposure to high quality civil and commercial dispute work within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The role will involve managing a varied civil litigation caseload, including work such as:

• Commercial and contractual disputes
• Boundary and property related disputes
• Debt recovery matters
• Inheritance and probate disputes
• Professional negligence claims

You will be responsible for progressing matters from initial instruction through to resolution, advising clients clearly and pragmatically at every stage. The role offers a good balance of autonomy and support, making it suitable for both newly qualified solicitors and those with a few years’ experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own civil litigation caseload with appropriate supervision
• Drafting pleadings, correspondence and settlement documentation
• Advising clients on strategy, risk and resolution options
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver effective outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards

About You

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
• Newly qualified to 4 years’ PQE in civil or commercial litigation
• Confident communicator with strong client care skills
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
• Detail focused with a practical, solution driven approach
• Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a team
