A legal 500 law firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Solicitor to lead and grow its Private Client DepartmentThis is a senior role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a commercial mindset who enjoys building and managing a team.
You will provide strategic leadership, oversee complex probate and Court of Protection matters, mentor junior lawyers, and drive the department’s growth through business development and client relationship management.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 8+ years’ PQE
- Extensive experience in probate, estate administration, and Court of Protection work
- Proven leadership or management experience
- STEP qualification preferred (or working towards)
- Experience in contentious probate matters
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Commercial and proactive approach to growth
