Property Finance Solicitor

Liverpool – £50,000 - £55,000

Douglas Scott are working with a well-established law firm who is seeking a Property Finance Solicitor to join its Liverpool property team.

The team offers a collaborative, supportive environment and encourages professional development, with exposure to a variety of transactions and direct client contact from the outset.

Responsibilities:
  • Managing bridging and development finance transactions from instruction to completion.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating security documentation for lenders and advising borrowers.
  • Conducting property due diligence, including title review, searches, and enquiries.
  • Providing commercially-focused advice that balances legal risk with client objectives.
  • Coordinating with clients, introducers, and other legal professionals to progress transactions efficiently.
  • Building strong client relationships and maintaining accurate file records.
  • Supporting business development and staying up-to-date with legal and regulatory developments.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in property finance transactions, including loan documentation, security structures, and due diligence.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 2:1 (or equivalent) university degree and relevant solicitor qualifications (LPC or equivalent).
