Senior Commercial and Real Estate Litigation Solicitor (7+ PQE)

Liverpool – £70,000 - £75,000

Douglas Scott are currently working with a well-established law firm seeking a Senior Commercial and Property Litigation Solicitor to join its Liverpool office at Senior Associate or Partner level.

A client following would be advantageous but is not essential. The firm is particularly interested in candidates with a strong network of professional and business contacts in the Merseyside area, alongside the ambition to contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
For candidates joining at Senior Associate level, there is a clear pathway to partnership.

The successful candidate is likely to have 7+ years’ PQE with experience across both commercial litigation and commercial property litigation. The role involves managing a varied caseload and acting for SMEs, financial institutions, and commercial property owners and funders.

Commercial litigation experience to include:

• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Claims arising from business sales (including warranty claims)
• Professional negligence matters
• Contested insurance claims
• Contractual disputes

Property litigation experience to include:

• Contested lease renewals
• Dilapidations claims
• Disputes arising from the sale, purchase, and leasing of property

The role would include some junior supervision based in the Liverpool office.
