I’m supporting a reputable and supportive law firm in Staines that is looking to welcome a newly qualified Child Care Solicitorr to their growing Family/Child Care team.This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ who is passionate about public law children work and wants to build a long-term career within a well-regarded department.
About the Role You will work closely with experienced Child Care specialists and will receive strong support as you develop your own caseload, which may include:
- Care proceedings
- Pre-proceedings work
- Special guardianship orders
- Adoption matters
- Liaising with local authorities, guardians and third-party agencies
The Ideal Candidate:
- Newly Qualified Solicitor (or qualifying shortly)
- Training or seat experience in Family or Child Care law
- Genuine passion for public law children matters
- Strong communication skills and an empathetic, client-focused approach
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively within a supportive team
