Commercial Litigation AssociateA respected regional practice is looking for a talented Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing Leeds team. This is a great role for someone who enjoys complex disputes, wants real autonomy and values working with a supportive, forward thinking group.
Commercial litigation - Associate - Leeds - 3+ PQE - Salary up to £65,000
You’ll handle a varied caseload of commercial disputes including contract issues, shareholder matters, professional negligence claims, IP related disputes and insolvency related work. Expect plenty of responsibility, direct client contact and the chance to be involved in high value contentious matters.
The team is looking for someone who can manage their own caseload confidently, provide clear and commercially minded advice and work collaboratively with colleagues. Strong drafting skills are essential, along with experience preparing pleadings, witness evidence, settlement agreements and other key litigation documents. You should also be comfortable conducting legal research to support your strategy and client recommendations.
A track record of business development will be beneficial, as the team values people who enjoy meeting clients and building relationships. Strong communication skills are important and you should feel confident engaging with both individual and business clients.
