I’m working with a respected and rapidly growing family team in London that has recently expanded into a new office and is now seeking an Associate to support the development of its London family offering. The team is led by a highly regarded lawyer recognised in major legal directories, and the work is predominantly high-value private financial remedy matters.

The Opportunity
You’ll join a specialist family team handling a full range of family law work, with a strong emphasis on financial remedy cases. Working closely with an experienced Partner, you’ll support on complex matters while also building and developing your own caseload over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on a wide variety of family law issues, particularly financial remedy matters
• Helping to build and grow the firm’s London family practice
• Developing strong cross-office relationships and facilitating referrals
• Staying up to date on legal developments and collaborating across the wider team
• Supporting with business development, networking, and professional memberships (including Resolution)
• Assisting the lead Partner while building towards managing your own full caseload over the next two years

About You:

• 2–5 years PQE
• Strong grounding in family law with notable experience in financial remedy work
• Excellent drafting skills and strong technical ability
• Confident in building and maintaining client relationships
• A collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills
• Commercial awareness and proactive mindset
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
