Senior Employment Associate

Derby – £60,000 - £70,000

This is a hands-on role managing a varied caseload of complex employment matters while supporting the growth and development of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including tribunal cases.
  • Advise clients on HR processes, settlement agreements, and employment law issues arising in transactions.
  • Mentor and supervise junior fee-earners, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Support team management, performance tracking, and business development initiatives.
  • Deliver client-focused solutions and contribute to strategic growth of the practice.

  • Strong experience in employment law, with knowledge of tribunal procedures.
  • Excellent client care, commercial awareness, and people management skills.
  • Proactive, motivated, and capable of leading complex matters independently.
  • Networking and business development aptitude.
