About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join a market-leading Fraud team handling a broad range of suspected fraudulent casualty claims. While the role primarily focuses on casualty work, it may also include property, travel, and first-party fraud cases.
The successful candidate will:
- Investigate and manage complex fraud cases from inception to resolution
- Gather, analyse, and interpret evidence
- Prepare detailed reports for clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with legal and forensic experts to build strong case strategies
- Participate in court proceedings where required
- Work closely with clients, insurers, and industry bodies including the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB)
Key Responsibilities - Manage a caseload of suspected fraudulent casualty claims, including EL/PL/OL matters
- Handle both pre-litigated and litigated claims through to trial
- Develop and implement effective investigation and litigation strategies
- Contribute to counter-fraud initiatives and process improvements across the team
- Maintain high standards of client care and professional service
About You - Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' UK fraud litigation experience
- Experience with personal injury fast-track and multi-track claims within counter-fraud
- Strong knowledge of EL/PL/OL claims and fraud detection strategies
- Excellent analytical, communication, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage complex cases independently and deliver results under pressure
- Commercially aware and confident managing client relationships
