Manchester – £40,000 - £50,000

Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience About the Role Join a leading national Large Loss team providing expert legal support on high-value and complex personal injury claims. Our work covers catastrophic injuries, including brain, spinal, and amputation cases, as well as substantial dependency and fatality claims. You'll work across a varied portfolio, with exposure to motor, employer's liability, public liability, and product liability matters.
What You'll Do - Manage your own caseload of high-value and catastrophic personal injury claims
- Assist partners with investigations, strategy reports, and client updates
- Liaise with solicitors, insurers, police, HSE, and witnesses to gather evidence
- Instruct medical and technical experts as required
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, and reports
- Attend hearings, conferences, and joint settlement meetings
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Ensure compliance with CPR, data protection, and client protocols
- Meet financial and performance targets while maintaining quality standards
What We're Looking For - Qualified Solicitor (NQ-3 Years PQE)
- Experience in defendant personal injury litigation (Motor or EL/PL preferred)
- Strong analytical and case management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently
- Sound knowledge of CPR procedures
