Associate – Clinical Negligence (2-5 PQE) 
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

We are working on behalf of a leading national law firm, who are seeking to appoint an Associate within their Clinical Negligence team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team recognised for handling complex and high-value defendant clinical negligence claims, acting on behalf of key clients such as the NHS.

The Role:

• Managing your own caseload of clinical negligence claims, including support on complex and high-value matters.
• Delivering excellent client service with a proactive and commercial approach.
• Assisting senior colleagues on high-value and complex claims across a wide range of medical disciplines including obstetrics, neurosurgery, oncology, and psychiatric care.
• Providing supervision and guidance to junior team members, contributing to their development and the overall strength of the team.
• Delivering consistently accurate and compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.

What We're Looking For:

• 2-5+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence, with a strong background in Claimant work.
• Proven experience managing your own caseload, including litigated claims.
• A passion for securing the best outcomes for clients and improving their quality of life.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with empathy and integrity.
• Experience supervising junior team members and contributing to their growth.
• Commercially aware, with a proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
