Salary: Competitive – Based on Experience The Opportunity: Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer ready to progress your career within a modern and supportive law firm? The Role: You’ll become an integral part of a busy residential property team, managing your own files and delivering a client-focused service. The position offers a balance of independence and teamwork, where your skills and contributions are recognised and appreciated.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling a full caseload of residential transactions from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Advising on a range of matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold, freehold, new builds, and transfers of equity.
- Dealing with complex cases where required, such as lease extensions, unregistered properties, right-to-buy, and shared ownership.
- Engaging with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and lenders to progress matters efficiently.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documents, raising/replying to enquiries, and ensuring full compliance throughout.
- Maintaining clear and accurate records using the firm’s case management software.
- Delivering exceptional client care tailored to individual needs and building strong client relationships.
What We’re Looking For: - A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, ideally within a high-street or regional setting.
- Confidence managing a caseload autonomously with strong technical ability.
- Experience with commercial or light commercial conveyancing is beneficial but not essential.
- Well-organised with a proactive mindset and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a personable and professional approach.
- A collaborative team member who contributes positively to a supportive work environment.
- Comfortable working with case management systems and in a hybrid working model.
