London – £35,000 - £38,000
My client is a leading Legal 500 firm, looking to recruit a passionate and driven solicitor to join their well-regarded Criminal Law team.The Role As part of a busy and dynamic Criminal Department, you’ll:
- Attend and represent clients at police stations and magistrates’ courts
- Prepare cases for trial in both Magistrates’ and Crown Courts
- Take part in an out-of-hours rota as part of your responsibilities
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong written drafting ability
- Confidence managing a busy workload under pressure
- Solid IT skills (Windows & Word)
- Experience preparing criminal cases for trial
- Police Station Accreditation
- 25 days holiday (rising to 28 after 3 years, 30 after 5 years)
