My client is a long-established and well-respected law firm, who are seeking a driven Dispute Resolution / Commercial Litigation solicitor who thrives on challenge, clarity of thought, and the art of resolving conflict with precision and empathy.
 
This is not a role for someone who wants to sit on the sidelines. You will sit at the heart of contentious matters that influence businesses, property interests, and everyday lives, helping clients navigate uncertainty with confidence.
 
What You'll Do
You'll take ownership of a varied caseload—commercial disputes, property battles, and a spectrum of complex issues—guiding clients from first conversation to final resolution. Your days will be spent:

• Steering cases efficiently from instruction to outcome, balancing pace with precision.
• Distilling complex legal positions into clear, honest advice on merits, risks, and strategy.
• Crafting persuasive pleadings, statements, and correspondence that move matters forward.
• Negotiating with tenacity and tact, and when necessary, standing for clients in court.
• Capturing time and value transparently and accurately.
• Staying sharp by tracking legal developments and emerging precedents.
• Collaborating with colleagues who value initiative, insight, and shared success.

Who You Are
We're looking for someone with both legal capability and human insight—someone who understands that behind every dispute is a person, a business, or a future at stake.
You will bring:

• Qualification as a solicitor or legal executive with at least 2 years' PQE in litigation.
• Strong technical skills, paired with practical, strategic thinking.
• Exceptional client-care instincts and the ability to build trust quickly.
• Clear, confident communication—written and spoken.
• Resilience in managing deadlines, variety, and competing demands.
• Sound judgement and a balanced approach to risk.
• Commitment to excellence in legal service and client experience.
• A collaborative mindset and a commercial awareness that strengthens your advice.
