A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Family Paralegal to join a highly regarded, multi-service law firm based in Harrogate. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and reputable legal team.

The Role:

You will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to a small team of specialist Family Solicitors. The team advises on a wide range of private family law matters, including:

• Divorce and financial settlements
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
• Cohabitation issues
• Child arrangements and parental disputes
• Civil partnerships and separations
• Mediation support
• Child abduction cases

Your responsibilities will include preparing legal documents, managing correspondence, liaising with clients and third parties, maintaining case files, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of matters within the department.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 12 months’ experience in family law as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• A professional and empathetic approach when dealing with sensitive family matters
