Intermediate Track Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated personal injury claims up to £100,000. You'll progress cases efficiently from instruction to resolution while delivering excellent client care and sound legal advice.
 
What You'll Do

• Manage a varied caseload of PI claims up to £100,000.
• Handle Portal and Fixed Fee RTA matters, including MIB claims.
• Gather and assess medical and non-medical evidence.
• Issue proceedings via the Court Portal and attend hearings when required.
• Advise on litigation risk, cost implications, and fundamental dishonesty.
• Maintain regular client communication and ensure compliance with CPR and court directions.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessment and manage prospects appropriately.
• Liaise effectively with insurers, Defendant Solicitors, and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate case management records and meet performance targets.

What We're Looking For

• Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with litigation rights (or working towards them).
• Experience managing litigated and non-litigated claimant PI files, including RTA Portal and Intermediate Track.
• EL/PL experience an advantage but not essential.
• Strong CPR knowledge and confident in progressing cases independently.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and client care skills.
• Competent with case management systems and MS Office.
• Team-focused, proactive, and adaptable.
