A highly regarded national law firm with one of the largest and most respected Private Wealth teams outside of London is seeking to recruit a
Solicitor at Senior Associate or Salaried Partner level (approximately 5+ years PQE).
The Private Wealth Department advises a prestigious client base that includes high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, entrepreneurs, landowners, landlords, corporate trustees, fiduciary service providers, and charities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and technically strong private client specialist to join a dynamic, award-winning team known for its complex and high-value work.
The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Advising high-net-worth clients on lifetime and death estate and tax planning
- Providing expert guidance on inheritance tax mitigation and estate administration
- Advising on the formation, taxation, and administration of trust structures
- Supervising junior fee earners and contributing to the development of the wider team
- Engaging in business development and maintaining key client relationships
Experience in charity formation and administration, income tax, and capital gains tax matters would be advantageous.
At Salaried Partner level,
strong business development credentials are essential, along with a
substantial client following and/or the holding of
numerous trusteeships or executorships.
About You - Qualified Solicitor with around 6+ years PQE in private client or private wealth matters
- Proven experience advising high-net-worth clients on complex estate and tax planning
- Supervisory experience required
- STEP qualification desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture client relationships and develop new business
