An exciting opportunity has arisen for an
Employment Solicitor (0–2 years PQE) to join a highly regarded and forward-thinking Employment Law team based in Nottingham.
This role offers excellent scope for development, working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of employment law matters, primarily acting for employers across various sectors including owner-managed businesses, charities, and large corporates.
You will handle a varied caseload of both
contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including:
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- TUPE and redundancy
- Contracts of employment and settlement agreements
- Discrimination and unfair dismissal claims
- High Court litigation involving restrictive covenants
You’ll be expected to manage your own files with appropriate supervision, contribute to client development, and participate in the team’s marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified solicitor with up to 2 years PQE in employment law
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and client care skills
- Be ambitious, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing team
- Possess excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Be confident managing multiple tasks and working independently
