A Debt Recovery Litigation Executive is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 100 law firm in Manchester. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and there is a competitive bonus in place.
 
My client is a highly regarded, award winning law firm with an excellent reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion they are looking for an experienced Debt Recovery Litigation Executive to join their dynamic Recoveries Team.
 
You will manage a caseload of debt recovery and litigation files from pre-action through to enforcement. This role offers the opportunity to handle challenging, high-value, and complex recovery cases while working closely with a supportive and skilled legal team.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a varied caseload of debt recovery claims, including pre-litigation negotiations and fully litigated matters.
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, and instructions to counsel.
• Assisting with enforcement processes, including CCJs, charging orders, attachment of earnings, and High Court enforcement.
• Advising clients on recovery prospects, settlement options, and enforcement strategies.
• Negotiating settlements with debtors and opposing solicitors.
• Ensuring compliance with court deadlines, procedures, and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
• Maintaining accurate case records and using the firm's case management systems.
• Working to financial targets while delivering an excellent client experience.

Applications are invited from candidates who have debt recovery experience either as a fee earner, paralegal or legal assistant. You will have strong knowledge of the debt recovery process and civil litigation procedures. In addition you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
