Leasehold Enfranchisement Associate/Senior Associate

Greater London – £60,000 - £85,000

Leasehold Enfranchisement Associate/Senior Associate
Central London Top 100 Firm

I am working with a leading law firm seeking an experienced Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor to join their busy team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of clients, from individual leaseholders to large estates, universities, developers, and healthcare trusts, providing the opportunity to work on both individual matters and complex, large-scale projects.

The role:
  • Advising on a broad spectrum of leasehold enfranchisement matters, including statutory claims under the Leasehold Reform Acts (1967 & 1993), right to manage applications under the 2002 Act, and right of first refusal under the 1987 Act.
  • Handling voluntary lease extensions, deeds of variation, and property management matters linked to freehold acquisitions and right to manage claims.
  • Acting on leasehold investments, acquisitions, and disposals of property portfolios for both buyers and sellers.
  • Supporting cross-departmental projects with Real Estate, Disputes, Family, and Private Client teams on matters with leasehold implications.
  • Involvement in tribunal and court proceedings, as required.
  • Attending industry conferences and networking events to build personal and firm profiles.
The person:
  • Qualified solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE, ideally with experience in leasehold enfranchisement gained within a strong Real Estate practice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive, logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and IT literacy.
  • Collaborative team player with enthusiasm for building client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in a supportive, client-focused environment, with exposure to high-quality work and the chance to work on both individual cases and broader strategic projects.
