Ready to join the legal engine behind the UK's biggest infrastructure and energy projects?

This international firm is seeking a talented construction and projects associate (2–5 PQE) to join its powerhouse team in London. Ranked Tier 1 for construction and infrastructure, the team advises on the most iconic developments in the UK and globally. From nuclear megaprojects and transport infrastructure to energy transition and urban regeneration.

You’ll get hands-on with career-defining deals, working directly with developers, contractors, government sponsors, banks, and utilities. No two matters are the same, and you’ll gain access to a breadth of technical, strategic, and commercial challenges from day one.

What you’ll do:
  • Advise on major infrastructure, energy, and real estate developments across the UK and internationally
  • Draft and negotiate construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, EPC, bespoke forms) and project documentation
  • Collaborate with project sponsors, funders, developers, and contractors across the private and public sector
  • Join cross-office teams working on multibillion-pound transport and energy mandates
  • Take on increasing responsibility in project structuring, risk allocation, and delivery strategy
What you’ll need:
  • 2–5 years’ PQE from a top-tier commercial practice or in-house legal team
  • Experience in non-contentious construction or projects, ideally with exposure to energy or infrastructure sectors
  • A strong grasp of construction contracts and procurement frameworks (JCT/NEC/FIDIC etc.)
  • Commercial judgment and the ability to engage confidently with clients and consultants
  • Drive to develop as a sector specialist in a fast-moving, international environment
This team has led on the UK’s most complex and ambitious infrastructure projects, including nuclear power, transport megaprojects, sustainable housing, offshore wind, water treatment, and digital infrastructure. You’ll also support initiatives across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, from PPPs to microgeneration schemes.

Clients include tier 1 contractors, global developers, institutional funders, government bodies, and energy majors.
