My client is a top 200 law firm, on the lookout for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their team.
About the Role This is a varied and stimulating position offering the opportunity to take on real responsibility, including regular direct contact with clients from the outset.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility in the types of disputes they handle. Our core litigation work covers:
- Contentious Trusts and Probate
- Property Litigation (both residential and commercial)
In addition, you may be asked to advise on related areas such as:
- Court of Protection matters
- Art and cultural property disputes
- Commercial and construction litigation
- Other civil disputes as they arise
Key Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, timely, and practical legal advice in collaboration with the Head of Department
- Assist in growing the department and attracting new work
- Draft, review, and negotiate litigation documents, including witness statements and settlement agreements
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client strategy
- Communicate directly with clients and manage incoming enquiries
- Attend court hearings and mediations as required
- Develop specialist expertise in chosen litigation areas
- Maintain high standards of client care, compliance, and commercial awareness
- Stay up to date with legal developments and share insights within the team
- Translate legal and regulatory changes into actionable client advice
Skills & Competencies - Prior experience in (or strong interest in) contentious probate, property litigation, and related dispute areas
- Strong commercial instincts and collaborative mindset
- Confident communicator – able to explain complex legal issues clearly and simply
- Analytical, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving

Experience Required - Law degree and/or substantial legal experience in a relevant environment
