Defendant Clinical Negligence Senior Associate - Birmingham - £74,000 DOEA top-tier UK law firm, ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers UK, is looking for bring in a Defendant Clinical Negligence Senior Associate to join its expanding team in Birmingham.
The role has come about due to an increase of instructions from NHSR. As well as established Senior Associates, my client is also happy to see Associate Solicitors who feel they are ready to move into a senior role. So, if you feel you are ready for that extra responsibility and increased pay, this is the perfect opportunity.
The Role:
You'll be joining a highly regarded team, acting primarily for NHS Resolution and private healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of complex defendant clinical negligence claims
- Assisting Partners on high-value, multi-million-pound cases.
- Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners.
- Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management.
- Developing expertise in a chosen area of interest (e.g. birth injury), working closely with leading national experts.
About You:
- 5-8 years PQE with solid defendant clinical negligence experience.
- Able to handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- A strong communicator with excellent technical and client-handling skills.
- A collaborative team player who is ready to take on more responsibility.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary up to £74,000 DOE + discretionary bonus.
