I am working with a leading law firm that is seeking a Family Law Partner and Head of their Family Team to play a pivotal role in developing and shaping their London City practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced family law professional to step into a leadership role and make a genuine impact.

The Role:

• Lead and inspire a growing team of family law specialists, fostering collaboration and cohesion.
• Work closely with the Head of Family Department to deliver on strategic and financial objectives.
• Develop and leverage your London network to bring high-quality work into the team.
• Manage a broad caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, cohabitation disputes, and prenuptial agreements.
• Provide expert advice to HNW/UHNW clients, delivering tailored, client-focused solutions.
• Supervise, mentor and support junior team members.
• Drive business development initiatives through networking and relationship building.
• Maintain strong organisation and case management practices.
• Stay up to date with developments in family law and apply this knowledge to client matters.

The Candidate:

• Significant experience in family law, particularly in financial settlements and child arrangements.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Proven ability to independently manage a busy, varied caseload.
• Commercially astute with a track record in business development.
• Strong IT skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
• Leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
