Real Estate Attorney - Co-op & Condominium: We are currently working with a highly regarded mid-size New York Law firm, who are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney with a strong background in Co-op and Condominium Law to join it's excellent Real Estate Practice in Manhattan.
The role: - Advising co-op and condo boards on governance, compliance, and fiduciary duties
- Drafting and negotiating contracts for construction, vendors, and professional services
- Managing mortgage refinancing and line of credit transactions
- Reviewing and amending governing documents (bylaws, proprietary leases, declarations)
- Conducting and overseeing board/shareholder meetings and election procedures
- Providing regulatory guidance under the BCL and Condominium Act
- Handling commercial leases, closings, and trust transfers
Required Experience: - At least 4+ Years of experience working in a Real Estate Practice
- Demonstrated experience in co-op and condominium law
- Excellent transactional, advisory, and client relationship skills
- Admitted to practice in New York
Salary:
$215,000 - $300,000, dependent on experience and seniority.
