A rare opportunity has arisen for a junior construction lawyer to join one of the City’s most respected and forward-thinking construction teams, embedded within a leading international law firm. This role will see you advising on some of the most significant regeneration, infrastructure, and commercial development projects in the UK.
From major transport schemes to iconic city-centre builds, you’ll be working at the heart of high-profile, long-term developments alongside major players in the public and private sectors. You’ll get hands-on responsibility from the outset and be part of a collaborative, growing team that’s gaining serious traction in the market.

What you’ll do: - Advise blue-chip clients on the drafting, negotiation, and delivery of high-value construction contracts (primarily JCT, ideally some NEC)
- Act on complex development, infrastructure, and regeneration projects across real estate, transport, and technology
- Work closely with clients including developers, contractors, government bodies, and household-name brands
- Contribute to strategic project planning, risk mitigation, and procurement structuring
What you’ll need: - 0–3 years' PQE with a strong grounding in non-contentious construction law
- Experience advising on JCT contracts (NEC knowledge highly regarded)
- Training and/or post-qualification experience from a top-tier City, international, or leading national firm
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to engage directly with clients, consultants, and counterparties
- Strong academic credentials and a genuine interest in infrastructure and the built environment
