Clinical Negligence Solicitor (1–6 years PQE)Manchester – Hybrid working
Competitive salary + benefits + flexible hours
I’m working with a really down-to-earth, compassionate team who are looking for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor (1–6 years PQE). This would be a great move for someone who’s looking to step things up a bit and carve out a role they can really make their own.
My client is a specialist practice that puts client care and early access to rehab front and centre. They take a holistic, supportive approach to the work they do, and that’s reflected in the way they treat their team too.
They’re especially keen to hear from clinical negligence lawyers who are confident handling complex, high-value cases and want to take full ownership of a meaningful caseload. You’d be working directly with clients on brain injuries, spinal injuries, fatal cases, and pro-bono work, it’s a varied and rewarding mix.
What they’re looking for: - Around 1–6 years’ PQE (Grade B or above ideally)
- A good grasp of clinical negligence and PI law
- Someone who’s confident juggling multiple files and keeping an eye on the details
- Empathy and strong client care skills – really important here
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A solid understanding of GDPR and AML regulations
The role will involve: - Running your own high-value caseload, with support from the senior team when needed
- Attending conferences, training and team meetings
- Reviewing medical records to assess liability
- Representing clients at hearings (where appropriate)
- Preparing loss schedules and estimating claims
- Keeping clients in the loop and offering support throughout the process
- Negotiating settlements
- Helping junior team members grow and develop
- Getting involved in charity partnerships and networking
The team supports hybrid and flexible working, you'll be based partly from their Manchester office and partly from home.
If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by clinical negligence, and want to be part of a genuinely lovely, supportive team, this is a brilliant opportunity.
