A leading US law firm is seeking to hire an IP Associate into its London practice as part of a measured, long-term expansion.

The role offers broad exposure across contentious and non-contentious intellectual property work, including patents, copyright, trade marks, confidential information, and technology-related disputes. Associates work closely with partners in a lean, high-quality team, with early responsibility and meaningful client involvement.

The practice handles complex, high-value matters, often with cross-border elements, acting for sophisticated clients across the technology, life sciences, telecoms, media, and digital sectors.

The Ideal Candidate
  • England & Wales qualified (or common-law equivalent)
  • Likely 2–4 PQE (flexible)
  • Experience in contentious IP or complex technology-driven disputes
  • Comfortable working on technically demanding matters with an international dimension
  • Keen to build a long-term career within a top-tier IP platform
STEM backgrounds are welcomed but not required.

Why Consider This Role?
  • High-end IP work within a globally recognised practice
  • Partner access and genuine responsibility from an early stage
  • International exposure and long-term progression
