Senior Residential Property Associate

Greater London – £70,000

The Senior Associate will be responsible for helping to grow and develop the department while maintaining a consistently high standard of client service. They will also support the Head of Department in delivering departmental and wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver work on their own matters efficiently and profitably, ensuring appropriate resourcing and effective workflow management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers, consistently exceeding expectations, and support senior colleagues in the management and development of key clients.
  • Agree the scope of services and pricing with clients, ensuring clarity and transparency.
  • Provide informed, commercially focused legal advice, demonstrating strong knowledge of the residential property market.
  • Manage client matters with minimal supervision, seeking guidance from senior colleagues only on highly complex or unfamiliar issues.
  • Develop a profile as a recognised expert within residential property.
  • Contribute ideas to the departmental business plan and demonstrate new business wins through successful business development initiatives.
  • Grow their network of clients and referrers, and support senior colleagues in targeting prospective clients and intermediaries.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, including providing support and supervision to junior members.
Requirements
  • Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE.
  • Proven experience within a Residential Property team.
  • Strong background in managing a broad range of residential property matters.
  • Excellent client management skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Experience in business development.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business.
